Twitter is pretty amusing on this topic. People are OUTRAGED that DeSantis and Abbott would use these people as pawns. They're so upset "on behalf of the migrants". Yeah, right. These migrants can be stuck in shitty border towns in Texas or can be stuck in Martha's Vinyard or DC or Chicago. What are the odds that people are ACTUALLY upset on behalf of the migrants and not on behalf of the NIMBYS?

My only issue is busing them to different parts of the county. There are more resources to hide them away and hide the problem from the public. They should all be transported to one location (the White House/capital building). DC won’t be able to handle the influx of migrants. Let the Dems in Washington deal with this problem that they have caused.

Full disclosure, earlier in life I did what was called an "Urban Learning Semester" while at Xavier. I quickly grew very tired of people who wanted to be seen helping the homeless, the addicts, the jobless, and the low income people living in public housing week to week, but never actually wanted to...you know...do anything that helped. They didn't want to actually spend time with anyone and have actual human to human interactions. They just wanted to be a false advocate for them. A little piece of that is still with me. If you want to help immigrants who are fleeing a horrible life situation, then I think that's great! I really do. But if all you want is a political platform, and don't really want to help, and are furthermore actually upset when they arrive on your own doorstep, then please shut the hell up and please go away.

That is exactly what they're doing! The targeted Dem run Cities are ALL desperate for unskilled labor. There is a job for ANY working age illegal that wants one. But if these idiots are putting them up in Hotels, with FREE EVERYTHING.....why would they go to work at these jobs, Paul?

Note- The Martha Vineyard situation doesn't necessarily apply, more of a 1 finger salute, but I'm sure all them filthy rich Libs can never have enough maids, landscapers and pool boys.

No, it's not...all it is, is blaming a group of people because of their political affiliation, and btw there was no "debate" you just felt the need to interject your political beliefs on a subject that wasn't even discussing one party or the other.
