This is profson, also known as Mat Vega (professor Vega's son, hence the name). I have guessed from various communications on this board that you are Paul Reiselman, son of the XU professor of the same name, and taught at St. X for years (me '70, you '71). Am I right? If so I will catch you up on some things.

Iba mirando por la ventana del taxi los sitios por donde pasábamos, el paisaje no me parecía nada alentador. Las casas me parecían horribles. Bloques cuadrados de cemento. Cuando veía un sitio que me gustaba un poco más, le preguntaba……… ¿aquí? ¿Ya? Y el me decía: -no, poco (que faltaba poco).
Pasamos dos puentes que unían islas y un montón de aldeas, por fin llegamos después de cuarenta y cinco minutos en el taxi.
