Very cool. And to think paul was cheering for this Obama era mission to be a failure.

Rhetoric, narrative, and feelings, none of these things are proof of which you have zilch. I voted Trump this last election. I am not a Trump hater, I hold him accountable, but I don't blindly hate the guy.

What in the living hell are you talking about? And what is my type.....do tell.

I think you missed the point that 95 was making...it had nothing to do with what you actually posted, just alluded to point that fact-based posts aren't exactly in the majority here.

I thought 95's post was funny considering 99% of this thread is not fact driven.

Did we have the strongest candidate to go after Trump? That was our problem, and the country is now paying a huge price. Yes, we Dems own our candidate problem; MAGA voters own Trump and his policies.
Yes, you mention all of these issues with Trump. However, he has been the Republican nominee for president 3x now. What does that say about the other nominees like Vivek and DeSantis who can’t beat the guy. What does that say about the Democrats who lost 2 out of 3 races against a guy with all these issues? What does that say about Congress who seem incapable of putting an arm around the guy and telling him to conduct himself in a more professional manner?

The problem with this country are the democrats and republicans who put party affiliation and radical ideology with the support of wealthy donors ahead of what is best for the country. These so called leaders have no professionalism to their constituents and have no accountability for their actions. I don’t expect them to agree on everything but I do expect them to be professional and work together to move this country forward which is seems very few are actually doing.

I’ll leave you with this. Not that long ago, I went to a political speech that was held not far from campus with a Republican friend. While there, I overheard a conversation where a lady in a MAGA hat said the Democrats were more of a threat to United States than other countries such as Russia, and China. I am sure this also happens at Demo events as well but why is there so much hate among our fellow citizens? I still feel like the Democrats and Republicans will draw us into a civil war in the not to distant future if this type of anger and hatred continues.

XUPHAN: Thanks for an insightful comment. I need to point out, however, that it is only the Rethuglicans that have inspired an insurrection, attempted to take away Medicaid for the "least among us" while giving tax breaks to billionaires, and to demonize hard-working aliens in our country. This "what aboutism" must stop; you (and many, many others on this board) need to address your Rethuglican representatives for what they are: stooges. Until that happens, Dems like me will continue to illustrate your two-faced phoniness, attempts to change the topic, and inability to face facts. Kellyanne Conway be damned!

I took it as noting my post was not fact driven. If 95s was not related to mine, then I apologize here.

The ironic thing about this is that lady was absolutely half right. She just missed the other part that is a massive threat to the country.

Oh, I'm sorry. Must have been someone else who giddily came here to post that initial intelligence report that the Iranian nuclear program was only set back a couple of weeks by the strike.

It seems complete understanding of the damage is still a question, with some senators being briefed who note exactly that. I would guess it might be a while before the real answer comes out.
Meanwhile, I see the administration is discussing the same sort of terms as the JCPOA; freeing up Iranian assets, granting loans to start a nuclear program for peaceful purposes as long as enrichment levels remain low, etc.
Just think, we were right there before Trump pulled us out. Well done.
