Campaign reporting violations (late in reporting some donations with a window before the election).
The money didn't go into his pockets.
Do you understand the difference in that and directly lining your own pockets by having people stay at your hotel? It's really fairly simple to grasp.
It's like the donations to the Clinton Foundation. Yes, people were probably seeking influence. But the money to the foundation went to charity causes worldwide. They didn't go into the Clintons' pockets.
Guess I'm just surprised that people don't see the difference in personal enrichment versus campaign contributions.

I believe china tariffs to US dropped from 21% to 10%. Cutting in half sounds like a good thing to me

Why are the Rethuglicans closing their collective eyes to the Trumpster and family growing ever richer through improper means? Why doesn't the emoluments clause in the Constitution apply to DJT? There will be a reckoning for such behavior (see Larry Householder, current resident of the "Big House" and Neil Clark, dead by suicide).

Interestingly you failed to comment on the Obama campaign receiving one of the largest fines ever levied for the FEC for illegal reporting and use of campaign funds. Actually it's not interesting, it 's very much on brand for a person whose best responses to the indiscretions of fellow Democrats has been to imitate an ostrich.

Whats your point? Trump doing something legal while one guy got caught? All you've done is illustrate this happens, which is what I have already stated. You think they only catch the 1-2 people that do it every year? Are you that gullible?

Just breeze by the fact that the Obamas received one of the largest fines ever regarding political contributions. I'm sure there was nothing nefarious going on at all.
