The Obama's made their money from book deals. The million + in jewels the Saudis gave him and her during his time in office are in the National Archives.

I’ll tell you the difference. Trump was rich before getting into office. The Obama weren’t, because like all presidents they got rich off lobbyists and campaign contributions. Rich off book deals lol you’re hilarious. They were loaded way before that Paul. I’m no fan of trump but you continually throw the wool over your eyes anytime someone mentions anything a democrat does wrong, and can’t speak about it without mentioning trump or another Republican. It’s exhausting.

The money didn't go into his pockets.
Do you understand the difference in that and directly lining your own pockets by having people stay at your hotel? It's really fairly simple to grasp.
It's like the donations to the Clinton Foundation. Yes, people were probably seeking influence. But the money to the foundation went to charity causes worldwide. They didn't go into the Clintons' pockets.
Guess I'm just surprised that people don't see the difference in personal enrichment versus campaign contributions.
