Unless Trump says something really stupid overnight, looks like we might get top Dow gaining day #12 out of 14 tomorrow. So....about 10% chance it actually happens!

Could easily happen. A few days ago he was calling for Powell's head, and setting him up to be blamed for the stock market losses.
Today with the turnaround, he all of a sudden "has no intention" of firing Powell.

'brew's post on the Pope Francis thread about voting on the next Pope reminded me to go check in on some political betting odds. For the 2028 Presidential election, the top two choices are currently JD Vance at +300 and.......Donald J Trump at +500. Oh boy.

On the good news front, the top Democrat choice is Josh Shapiro at +1000. That would be a nice change of pace.
