You're absolutely correct on this. I do wonder though that if the market continues to see a decline, if Republicans will have what they need to overcome him. I know there are a couple of bills Republicans have drafted that would limit his tariff power...I'm sure they are just waiting to see what the market does over the next couple of weeks to see if a vote would be viable.

What republicans have drafted bills? Rand Paul? Donald Trump has taken over the Republican Party and turned it into his own. Whether you like it or not MAGA is leading the Republican Party. He owns the Republican Party and essentially does as he pleases. If you don’t follow, you are removed by either being fired or funding for your campaign goes to someone who will be a yes man to him. Republicans are too scared to do anything about it as they worry they will lose their congressional seat if they go against him. No Bill is going to happen and the amount of Republicans who say they trust Trump proves it. Which is exactly what Donald Trump wants. Would you rather MAGA/Trump be in charge or the Democrats?

There’s one in the house and one in the senate. The senate one is a bipartisan bill and apparently already has 7 republicans on board.

There is already an eye on the midterms, if the market does what is forecasted by many, this may the opening that the adults need
