The online pics remind me of a place that is apparently now closed, Anna’s in Norwood. I don’t know how good they were, but it was a daunting task to get those ginormous sandwiches in your mouth! Then the mayo would lead to all the fixin’s sliding out. What a mess, and what a great memory! Haha

The Pour House in Oakley had them kinda samiches! Until it burned down. Or did it burn up? Never could figure that out.

First place I ordered a underaged drink. Peppermint Schnaps and a beer.
    I don't always drink beer, but when I do, I drink 2XS.

I see the Enquirer is running a Best Burger playoff.
    Who you got?
...he went up late, and I was already up there.

Quatman’s! Nothing fancy. Just a good, simple, burger.

Golf is a relatively simple game, played by reasonably intelligent people, stupidly.

    1. Terry's Turf Club (although I havent been there since ownership changed and can't say if its the same).
    2. Sammy's (Blue Ash)
    3. Arthurs (Hyde Park)

I don’t know about the other two, but Arthur’s is on my must do list for every trip back (along with Zips and of course Dana’s).

For those that haven't been to Herb and Thelma's off of the 12th st exit in NKY, get there ASAP. The only negative is they don't have a deep fryer so no fries.

Sammy’s is awesome! They tried one in Mason but didn’t make it. Location wasn’t the best.

Zip’s over Arthur’s in my opinion. But can’t touch Arthur’s cheese sticks tho.

For burgers, Zip’s is my #1. When I go there I know what I’m getting. When I go to Arthur’s I consider the entire menu. Zip’s is in my top 2 burger experiences anywhere. I don’t know how much of that is the food, and how much is the atmosphere and memories. Plenty of both.

    Agree with every word.

The feel of the place. The train set.

BTW, Zip's chili is superb as well.
