    Was there ever a doubt? Housinger showed why he was MVP for the tournament.

    Could have also had Alazaus named co-MVP; he helped keep the UConn bats quiet at the beginning when Xavier was getting handcuffed at the plate by UConn's bullpen lefty.

    And now we wait to see if Xavier gets to go to the Lexington regional (where they've already played UK this year) or travel elsewhere.

    UConn will likely go up north to the BC/Brighton regional.
