I don't see this as any different than most of the trash talking I'm hearing guys say in games, but he has to know that he's supposed to be the adult in the room when you have his job. If the WVU administration tries to shrug this off things could get ugly with sponsorships, supporters, etc.

Another reason that WLW isn't uploading the clip/show is that Bill Cunningham (KKKunningham?) also gets off a "Transgender Night" blast before Huggins went off. Wouldn't surprise me if he has a few extra "vacation" days in the near future.

As for Huggins, it's obviously an immature remark. But secretly, the WVU brass are probably happy to now have an excuse to nudge him out and hire someone a little younger so they can rebuild their program up. Record-wise, there are a number of places where he'd have been on the hot seat if a)his name wasn't Bob Huggins and b) he wasn't an alum.

Good point. I doubt he was trying to bait him. Probably just wanted to stalk a little Crosstown Rivalry chatter with him, but he led into it in a not so advisable manner.

I really like the apology by Bob. Notice how he says that he'll accept any punishment that comes his way. Or said differently, he ain't resigning over this.

I really hope this is the end of Bob. And I REALLY hope that XU issues a statement calling his comments hurtful, inflammatory, tasteless, classless and whatever else we can think of. But dont accept his apology and DONT condone his actions. The ONLY way fat Bob keeps his job is if we shrug it off and forgive him.

And by the way, if we DID forgive him, then I guess we know who owns the high road....
