People becoming irate and belligerent about hospital treatment and refusing treatment. I am curious where you get all of your information from? It seems like you believe everything that you read or want to believe. Maybe ask to volunteer at a hospital near you and ask people in the ERs what they think. Ask them their experiences. Get a first hand account of whats actually going on instead of what you call, “believing everything you read”.
When you hear about hospital capacity issues, ask:
    1) What percent of capacity does the hospital usually run at? Hospitals are a business and need to make money, and they do that with patients.
    2) Similar to the above, how often do hospitals have capacity issues? It's not unique to COVID.
    3) How much was hospital capacity reduced by firing the unvaccinated health care workers?
    4) What does the geography's hospital census say? There is more than one hospital.
    5) Does the person/news source reporting the "overcrowding" have an agenda?

The story may well be legit, but I've found more often than not, it's misleading at best.

“The story”? A first hand account on the front lines of this pandemic is a “story”? What “agenda” does an ER Nurse have to make this stuff up? I am sitting here scratching my head at this one. I guess the Sandy Hook school shooting was fake as well right? It was staged by the liberals as a way to push gun control right? Alex Jones said it never happened so it must not have happened right? Here is a lesson for you, If you are afraid of getting a rotten apple, don’t pick it off of the ground, go pick it off the tree. If you want to know the truth about something, go see it yourself or talk to people who have/are living it. Not from CNN, Fox News, Facebook, Twitter, etc.

Based on polling, I suspect it will be over soon. It was, and always has been, more about political science than actual science. They will try to declare victory. Don't let them. It will ring far more hallow than W.'s declaration of victory on the USS Abraham Lincoln.

The mask wearing should only be for middle and high school kids. It’s a mess for elementary kids.
My kids are in elementary school (Grades K and 2) and they absolutely don't give a shit about having to wear a mask. They actually seem to kind of like it for some reason. They put their masks on when they get in the car to go to school, my wife reminds them that they don't have to put the mask on until they get into the school, but they elect to keep it on. None of our friends' kids really care either.

I'm not sure how much it's actually doing to stop the spread of COVID, but they do seem to be getting fewer colds this year (not 'none' but 'fewer').

Yes, an ER nurse may well make up a story. Some to stoke the fear porn, some to seek glorification, and some to downplay covid. We've seen them all over the course of this pandemic. I've seen that personally by talking to nurses and doctors. You don't have a monopoly on that.

Sounds like a classic case of liberal parents brainwashing their kids. Have you convinced them to question their gender yet?

Your kids are not in danger of Covid. I have a 5 year old and 3 year old. Our three year old was born at 28 weeks and was in the NICU for 2-1/2 months. She caught Covid this past summer, but you wouldn't have been able to tell. Didn't slow her down one bit.

Unless kids have a weakened immune system in the first place due to some other health issue, children are basically at no risk of serious impact of Covid.

Again, only 795 out of almost 900,000 Covid deaths are in the 0-17 age group, so why are kids being forced to mask up? Why is Fauci and our government pushing the vaccine for babies and young kids?

Even Sweden's government and scientists recommended AGAINST kids 5-11 getting the vaccine as the risks outweigh the benefits.

Maybe to keep them from spreading it to older people?
I don't really know, but I'm assuming they carry the virus without apparently being affected too much...but could potentially transmit it to others.
