[QUOTE=D-West & PO-Z;709080]I have been MIA for 5 months from xavierhoops. Glad to see this thread is right where I left it. Ha.[/QUOT]
I hope you and the family are doing well. That is the important kind of stuff to me. I don’t “need to be right” on either side. There are really just a few people here trying to prove they are right. The vast majority have avoided this cess pool due to the people who are so extreme.

Thanks! We are doing well.
My triplets are in pre-school for the first time 5 days a week so a little worried about COVID exposure for them for themselves and to me, but they need to be out of our house and get the benefits of what schools brings at that age!
Hoping for the day my meds have covid antibodies and the vaccine is approved for kids!
Hope you and yours are well!"I’m willing to sacrifice everything for this team. I’m going to dive for every loose ball, close out harder on every shot, block out for every rebound. I’m going to play harder than I’ve ever played. And I need you all to follow me." -MB '17

All is well here, the son and DIL return from Hawaii honeymoon tomorrow. Italy got swapped out due to complications.
God bless you with triplets! God doesn’t hand you anything you can’t handle. Hard to believe they are in pre-school. It seems like you were just pregnant! Blink and you are at the senior prom. Enjoy the ride!

So what happened in Florida? Did they enact some kind of restrictions? Did people suddenly change their behaviors? How did they ever decrease daily cases by 80% in the last 6 weeks with schools starting up and all those college football games? I’m asking for a friend.

Yeah, these Melbourne protestors are obviously pissed about those travel restrictions that are going to be rescinded in a couple of weeks:

Why do you want to continue to make this a political issue rather than a public health emergency?
Florida has 21 million people and has lost 55,000 to Covid.
Australia has 25 million people and has lost 1,300 to Covid.
I'm glad cases are coming down in Florida. Cases are skyrocketing in Australia relative to their earlier numbers.
Maybe Florida could have done a little better. I don't know. But that's a lot of people lost....he went up late, and I was already up there.

OMG! Are you serious?!?!
I wonder why you chose to compare FLA to AU. Why not NY or NJ? Or RI or MASS? Seems real strange coming from an apolitical guy such as yourself....
Oh, and wait a few more weeks as other blue states catch and pass FLA as seasonality reaches the north....

No no. The Dems and liberal media made it a political issue. Seasonality is a science issue. Let’s try this:
Them: DesthSantis is killing people by not imposing lockdowns and mask mandates!
Me and other informed scientists: airborne respiratory virus comes and go in waves around the globe based on latitude and season.
Now do you see who is making it about politics?
Oh, and Lou nailed the poor comparison. But let me ask you this Paul. Would you rather have been in FL or Australia for the last 18 months?"...treat 'em with respect, or get out of the Gym!"
