It's admittedly small sample size though.

    To be clear: I'm not advocating for that, but if people are making a choice not to get the vaccine that could dramatically improve the situation couldn't a hospital make the choice not to treat those patients? How would we all feel about that? I would imagine not great...
    Just a thought but what if we used the billions in COVID money to establish COVID treatment centers to isolate the cases from general medical needs?

    So now you're advocating for gov't intervention? Odd.

    Life is all about choices and ramifications, you see.
    Not advocating for refusing to treat unvaccinated but the examples above are not overwhelming hospitals and stretching resources thin.

    Not a first place trophy you really want:

    Florida becomes first US state where the daily deaths in current wave have exceeded previous waves.

    Yeah, but the resources restraint argument has been use to curb smoking, obesity/heart disease, etc. it’s always used as a precursor to or justification for controls.

    Can you answer any of these questions pertaining to this data:

    * What's the average age compared to last winter or last year?

    * What percent are overweight?

    * What percent have a comorbidity?

    * What percent have a vitamin D deficiency?

    This is straying from the original point made, which is money. When resources are thin the sacrifice is a procedure that makes the hospital money. There is more money (by a lot) to make in other procedures than Covid. Not all the obese smokers have heart attacks on the same day. It is allocated for in a routine supply and demand schedule and not all in 2-4 weeks twice a year.
