Welp, not so fast. The CDC director decided to unleash another fear porn episode with "hospitalization rates for adolescents are increasing"! Scary!
Except if one takes the time to question the narrative and look at data (as sadly few do) this claim can quickly be debunked. The entire basis of the claim was a couple weeks in April when hospitalizations increased - not just adolescents, but all age groups. She also ignores the fact that in the last 6 weeks, all age groups, including adolescents, have fallen back to early pandemic lows.
Between this, her COVID apocalypse warning in March, and the former CDC director telling us masks were more effective than a vaccine, how can we believe anything the CDC says?
Are they really this incompetent?

Pretty simple. Get the kids vaccinated. They already got shots for Polio, Diptheria, Flu, Hep A/B, Measles, menococcal, mumps, chickenpox, rotavirus, rubella, tetanus and whooping cough.

Rather not deal with your gov't conspiracy theories. Just want to get the kids vaccinated.

My kids will get vaccinated when there's something that forces them to. Like a vacation to a destination that requires it or going to a college that requires it. They're too old for me to force them into it, and I don't see any of them choosing to get the vaccine. I don't particularly blame them, either. They all had Covid, and it was a big nothing for them (and almost everyone in their age group).

Why will kids still have to wear masks in KY schools after 6/11?

Not really...first of all:
medRxiv publishes preliminary scientific reports that are not peer-reviewed and, therefore, should not be regarded as conclusive, guide clinical practice/health-related behavior, or treated as established information.
This is not what Cleveland Clinic deduced from the study, it is someone's opinion based on a study that Cleveland Clinic performed.
