Paul said he personally isn’t getting the shot because he’s had COVID. The Yahoo scientists are wrong and Paul is correct in his thinking according to every practicing medical professional I’ve spoken with. So, Paul’s personal choice is based in science and Yahoo found a couple of people with medical degrees to validate a bogus headline not aligned to Paul’s comments.
Article is basically a bad term paper. Start with a flimsy premise, find a couple of quotes to back up weak premise, write in an hour, turn in and head to the bar.
Again, please read past the headline before you post.Last edited by Strange Brew; 05-31-2021 at 01:38 PM.

Are there other scientist and doctors who agree with Paul? Yes, there are. Do the the scientist in the article hold a contrary opinion? Yes. Those scientist provided data that people under 65 have a similar risk of infection to those that have had the vaccine. 80% immunity (jumps to maybe around 90% with the second shot). So, we have no science that proves previously infected people are at a significantly higher risk than those those who’ve been vaccinated (under 65, Paul is 58). What we have are opinions from a handful of scientists to fit the narrative of the author. I’m vaccinated but this article is a goofy hit piece on Paul and others with 0 usable information other than if you’re over 65 you should get the vaccine if you personally feel it’s best for you.
And one of the scientists is from the CDC? Riiiight. They’ve been super sciencey through this whole pandemic....

More sciencey from the Mayo Clinic.
https://www.mayoclinic.org/do-i-stil...9/vid-20507033...he went up late, and I was already up there.

So what? Also being told by sciencey people the vaccine may need boosters. Point? No one knows. What’s your point Paul? Everyone knows the vaccine is available and if you get it you personally are fine and likely so are people who’ve had it. Don’t know why it’s political except the mask and Wuhan Karen’s are mad their science gods were dead wrong about both. At this point we don’t have to wear our compliance face coverings, the vaccines are available, this did come from a Chinese lab and Fauci is not credible.
We should probably close this thread as this thing is pretty much over except some questions around the motivations of Fauci, the media and the CDC.
