The only poster to actually give something meaningful is Lloyd - and while we don't agree, I appreciate intellectual honesty. Others here, sad. Very very sad. You nailed it Lou. Sheep.
I hate to use the term sheep, but, I think it applies. There are numerous demonstrable lies and flip-flops by Fauci, the CDC and other governmental officials, and yet most people on this site (at least the vocal ones) continue to blindly follow no matter what. There doesn't appear to be too many on here that question the data or the policies - I see only obedience. And if someone does question the data or a policy, we're told to shut up and obey. I'm not even sure anyone takes the time to read or analyze opposing data and view points.

I think you may have touched on this earlier; but it's this attitude among those on this board and in the mainstream media where no one can question the data, Fauci or the CDC without being immediately dismissed, which is driving even more opposition to the official narrative. Sorry folks, but that's how the scientific method works.

“My hands and feet were either frozen, numb or burning, and pretty much useless for two weeks, I feared I would never play again…”

    - Eric Clapton after getting the vax....

“I should never have gone near the needle,” Clapton continued. “But the propaganda said the vaccine was safe for everyone.”

“I’ve been a rebel all my life, against tyranny and arrogant authority, which is what we have now,” he added.

    What's the point in that?
Some (all?) vaccines may have some side effects for some people.
We've eradicated smallpox with vaccines. Some people have side effects from getting them.
I don't think he was forced to get the vaccine...but I'm glad he did so he couldn't unknowingly infect others, or get sick/die himself.
Would hated to lose Eric Clapton to Covid.
...he went up late, and I was already up there.

This needs to be pointed out:

CDC Dir. Rochelle Walensky defends new mask guidance for vaccinated Americans, telling @MarthaRaddatz: "We now have science that has really just evolved even in the last two weeks that demonstrates that these vaccines are safe, they are effective."

So is she saying they had no idea what the risks/effectiveness would be for people who got the vax prior to May? Is she talking out of her ass, or did the CDC push a vaccine that they were unsure of. Either one is deeply concerning.

She’s from the CDC. She’s covering not speaking from her behind.

I’d love to hear the anti-maskers’ thoughts on mask mandate and/or mask wearing motive. I have asked that same question in different ways about five or six times in this thread and they never give an answer. Guess they don’t want their tin foil hat or pure crazy to show.

Control and conformity. Give the masses something to feel they can do even if it doesn’t accomplish much. Kind of like huddling under your desk during a nuclear attack. Makes people calmer.

Also allows people to feel superior. Similar to awareness campaigns that don’t really do much except allow you to show you care a lot about something for a bit.

Ok. Thank you for at least answering. While I disagree, I can at least see where you are coming from.

Thanks. I’m not anti really and happy to play along for a while. More concerning to me is how quickly Americans rolled over and were willing to stay locked in their homes. Remember it was only going to be for two weeks. That’s what the Gov’t and the talking picture box said...
