Unfortunately most people do not read past the headline or chyron, hence my concern.

I’ve been waiting for the CDC to give more motivation for people to be vaccinated, as there is still a large percentage of the population that is declining. Yesterday these guidelines were released for those fully vaccinated.

If fully vaccinated it is considered safe to:
*Visit with other fully vaccinated people indoors without wearing masks or staying 6 feet apart.

*Visit with unvaccinated people from one other household indoors without wearing masks or staying 6 feet apart if everyone in the other household is at low risk for severe disease.

*Refrain from quarantine and testing if they do not have symptoms of COVID-19 after contact with someone who has COVID-19.

The case graphs are trending downward so there is some light at the end of the tunnel as more vaccine gets rolled out. In Ohio the amount of vaccine sitting in the fridge or freezer remains quite high. Hopefully that changes soon.
It's crazy. One year ago my life significantly changed and hasnt gone back to normal yet. I have an immune deficiency and I work in healthcare. I went from everyday in a nursing home seeing patients to a corporate job at a desk never seeing patients. I never thought it would be a year and I wouldnt be seeing patients again. One year ago today was my last day in the nursing home. I was very lucky to be able to make the change within my company or I would have been in a real bind like I know so many others were and still are. Work for us in the nursing home industry has been so stressful over the last year though. I just cant believe its been a year.

Social aspects of my life completely changed as well, like the majority of us, and still hasn't returned anywhere close to normal. I have been lucky though that me nor anyone in my family (except for my brother in college, but no one in my household) came down with COVID.

I have been vaccinated but it doesnt give me the full protection like most people. I have been lucky enough that several of my close family members have been vaccinated, making it much easier to be safely around them.

    What a crazy year.

Anybody had the Pfizer 2nd dose yet? Mine is scheduled for a week from Thursday. Interested to see if the side effects are as pronounced as the Moderna vaccine. I'm 45 but my work-field allowed me to get on the vax schedule.

Had no problem with first or second dose Pfizer.

I have had both doses of Pfizer. After second dose I had a headache for abut 4 days that I believe was related to the vaccine. No other issues.

It may be necessary to get the vaccine in secret if your news comes from Fox.
Just tell all your friends you didn't get it (even if you did), and you'll be fine.

I'm 46 and got the Moderna. Very little side effects for me. Maybe a headache a few hours after, and then tired for the next 4 days. Got mine at the same time of a group I know in a similar age bracket. Side effects ranged from vert little all the way to feeling like had the flu.

I was also told that if you don't have a reaction to the first shot, you shouldn't have much of a reaction to the second.
