I noticed that too, yet Sweden has very limited government-mandated shut downs. The citizens are by all accounts I’ve read been voluntarily limiting themselves though. Let’s try that.

As to the spike in diagnosed cases, luckily for hospitals now get a 20% bonus for Covid-19 care thanks to the CARES Act. Hmmm. Meanwhile the MSM will have something else to use to scare the shit out of people.

But I don’t understand how that lives with the minimal hospitalizations and ICU admits. Ohio is not seeing a big spike in deaths nor serious cases apparently.

The citizens of many other countries are more inclined to follow governmental recommendations than we are in the USA. We need mandates or we tend to ignore them. We might even ignore the mandates.

Now that the hospitals get a 20% premium for treating COVID-19 patients, expect to see a lot more “diagnosed” with it.

Sweden's restaurants and bars are open, so maybe their spike was to be expected.
Hopefully whatever things Ohio has been doing will keep their death total from almost tripling in one week like Sweden's.
...he went up late, and I was already up there.

No Ohio is right there with them but just a week behind. Come this Wednesday Ohio will probably be in the 12k range where they were last Wednesday. I think they are actually leveling out but went from 7,000 to 13,000 fast. Kind of like the move Ohio has made the last couple of days. My point is that they have stayed open and Ohio is trending really close to their trend while being shut down.

Yeah, going out to eat is something I seriously miss.....but when our idiot Governor in GA opens things back up I’m not rushing out like nothing ever happened. I’ll maintain social distancing and responsibility. If people will just be smart, this will be a lot easier.

I was staying home before the order, and I’ll stay home as much as possible after it’s lifted. One thing that will happen when I do start going back out I’d some stupidly large tipping. Those poor people need some help bouncing back. I hope those who can will do the same thing.

Ohio’s deaths will probably spike over the next week. It’s just kind of the trend with this thing. Not anything close to what they were telling us a month ago though as far as the crazy case and death totals.

I sure hope Ohio doesn't spike like that.

They seem to be trending that way. Cases are jumping so deaths will accelerate a little as well. Still not that bad and not nearly as bad as what they were saying a month ago. Sweden has plenty of beds as does Ohio. I would imagine it will be a quick spike and then start dropping.

Overreacted? Really? I really don't ever care to hear about NY and the northeast not understanding the real America again.
