I know I'm in the minority, but there is no part of the soccer experience I enjoy. Give me baseball, softball, real football, volleyball, basketball, swimming, hockey, or even lacrosse any day. I'll pass on soccer.

Bowling does suck too, but at least it's indoors out of the blistering sun and earth melting heat. And, at least now in Ohio bowling alleys aren't in a perpetual haze of cigarette smoke like they were when we were kids.

The only redeeming quality of bowling is the vices that accompany it; namely, drinking and greasy food (I agree about the smoke--glad that's gone!). But even then, the "sport" itself is an unnecessary distraction.

Pet peeve: The search function on this site refuses to search on short phrases regardless of how common they are. I get that you don't want to search on "the" but I can't search "NFL". Peeved.
