I was at a gathering last night, and one of the guys there had a cybertruck that he let us drive around. I think those things are ugly as sin, but otherwise they're objectively amazing. The self-driving is crazy good. Hopefully in 10-15 years (20-25?) the technology is affordable enough that everyone on the road is in self-driving mode. Would save thousands of lives a year. 41,000 people died in the US last year in auto accidents, and self-driving vehicles would reduce very significantly right away, and as the technology improves should get to very close to zero.

IDK, those Aliens are way ahead of us in technology, but I’m told they keep crashing their UFO’s all over the place like a bunch of drunken teenagers driving Dad’s car.

I look at my grandkids and wonder what will be common to them that I can’t even imagine today.
