    Wilcher committed to fat judas.

As for Claude, I’ll be surprised if he goes to any kind of winning program. I could see a middling power 5 school. He’s got a fine game but I think he’s proven now in three years of college ball he’s not a winner. If I’m a top program, I stay far away from him. He’s about as anti clutch as they come

Would someone explain what's going on? I know the portals are closed, but are there still negotiations happening? Are we holding for some new recruits?
I believe we still had 4 slots open. I find it hard to believe there are some good players (guards) that are out there and we couldn't land a few.

Players just can't enter the portal now at this time...you can still get players.

We aren't getting more 4 scholarship type players..we gotta be close to the nil budget at this time, and there is really no reason to fill all those spots. I think we may see one more ballhandler, but outside of that, X is done.

I believe with Westphal, we have just two slots open. Somehow, Isaiah Walker blew right by me. I would love to grab a guard or two just for depth. Forsythe has yet to sign with a team. I know that players stick with coaches, but I think he is going to turn into a nice player.

Thank you, I was a bit worried about the bench...and the starters. I love the size of this team.
I still believe we should be in the mix and grab a couple of guards. I'm a dreamer, after all these years and think of a guy like Boum or Kunkel.
Of course, I still think about Jim Boothe or Lou Vonderbrink.....LOL. I started XU in 1954.

Alijah Arenas was put in an induced coma after a car crash. He is a 5* recruit for USC. Damn, rumor is he totaled a Cybertruck but I could not confirm that.

Either he was going really fast, or those trucks have a plastic front end.

...he went up late, and I was already up there.

Apparrently Claude has been in contact with these schools:

    Zaga
    UVA
    Ole Miss
    Florida
    BYU
    IU

I guess if he is the third or so option offensively, he can be a really good player and not have to be counted on in crunch time. Or, maybe these schools just see the stats and measurables and haven't watched him in clutch time the last three years.

    They are buying numbers.

No chance these schools have the time and resources to truly assess these players. This portal money, outside of a handful of teams, has got to be the most oppressively negative ROI of all time.
