Watched game this morning from 10 minutes left in 2nd half.
X shockingly survived while Free and Conwell sat. Hugely looked very rusty in 1st half falling like he does but in 2nd half he played good defense and rebounded at crucial moments.

Did Texas run out of steam or did they go ice cold?
X did score a lot compared to Texas in transistion 17-7 I think.
Defense improved in 2nd half but the number of offensive rebounds Texas got was very frustrating.

Swain and others had so many missed layups He is only docked 1 to in box score but his leg kept pushing the ball outside..

I’m sitting in a hotel room this morning in Franklin, TN. Just went downstairs to get coffee, wearing my Xavier Gear of course. Guy stops me as I walk by the breakfast area and says “You would be wearing that this morning. We’re from Texas.” I said “Hell yes I’m wearing it!” Turns out though he’s a Texas A&M fan and season ticket holder and can’t stand Texas. We had a nice conversation. :).

I’ll be sporting my Xavier gear all day and I’ll be smiling all day too! By the way it’s our wedding anniversary…42 years….today! Thank you X for a great anniversary present!

I thought I heard one of the announcers last night say that was the largest comeback win in Xavier history.

Is that correct? (caveat: bourbon could have interfered with my hearing; or my wife's yelling at the TV)

Possibly in NCAA Tournament history. We've certainly had larger comebacks in the regular season.

Kansas State SHOULD have been a bigger comeback win. GRRRRR
