Maybe. Just one more thing and then I'll drop it. There are lots of other factors in play and I'm not blaming allowing hate speech as a direct correlation to it, but allowing things like the examples you described has been a factor in some horrible people throughout history rising to power. Hasn't happened in this country, thank gawd. Although Paul may argue my last point lol.

McConnell is out after '26. Shouldn't come as a shock, but Biden tried to run for another term in '24, so I guess one never knows the lengths to which the mentally impaired (and those close to them) will go in an attempt to cling to power.

Frankly, McConnell should retire post-haste, but I'm not sure what the rule there is. If McConnell retired, could Beshear put in a Democrat to finish out his term?

The Fed told businesses they must mandate the vax, the employees must take tests or no work. Fascism by definition. Unamerican in every way.

… Ville wanted to shut down free speech (or speech that doesn’t comport to his way of thinking):

1. That’s only for employers with 100 employees +
2. It’s not really a mandate when you have the option of getting tested instead of taking a vaccine
3. It is very American to do everything possible to keep people healthy and safe
4. No ones opinion is going to change here, I request to the mods this thread is either moved like the politics thread was or closed completely
