For better or worse, the Trump McDonald's stunted is the first interesting move either candidate has done in a bit.

When you close the business and run fake customers through the pick-up line...that is interesting.

I think it was smart. Most people love McDonalds (perhaps more than they should). The health junkies that don't typically lean pretty far left and wouldn't vote for him anyway.
