I didn't know much at all about this guy, but Hannity's lengthy interview last night with him was impressive. He is a classic southern man of God, so you get everything that is expected from that, which irritates a lot of people on social issues. His staunch conservatism on everything else is far more important.

BTW, if you want real racism on full display......look no further than the Democrat Party and the groups that support them.
I never said he was racist, but you’re right, I should have said hetero male instead.

While I agree that policy is more important when it comes to politics, I also don’t want someone in a position of power that denies elections and denies certain things for people just because of what gender they want to f.

Ok, because the Google machine didn't produce anything racist on him.

Speaking of, one of the most fascinating things in American politics is the never ending drum beat on how Republicans are racists. POLITICAL racism comes in the form of policies and agendas that hurt minorities. You know, the kind of Democrat/Progressive stuff that produces horrific public schools, single parent families and generational government dependence.

Ok, I dunno why you are going off on some kind of tangent about political parties. I was talking about a singular person, Johnson.

If he was a democrat, I’d feel the same way about him. I’m not in the business of blaming an entire party for all of life’s troubles. There is plenty of blame to go around.

How exactly do you go about addressing the mental health issues in this country? Mental health is a major plague on this society but the resources need to appropriately address it won’t be coming from Washington anytime soon or ever. They won’t want to fund it. No matter how many people die from overdoses, suicide, shootings, etc. It’s money over people in this society.

So honest question, should we sell this god damn railroad or not? Both sides arguments are very convincing to me.

I don't live directly in the City of Cincinnati, so I wouldn't be voting on it. I'd probably be in the "seems too good to be true" camp on this one.

Ya, all this money sent to Ukraine, Israel, Iran for nuclear deal, etc. when our own people are dying as the result of mental health problems. Think what would happen if the government actually used that money for their own people. Though you would have to trust those funds would actually go towards mental health and not be funneled to other political projects.

Even if the funds were available, spend it on what? There is only 1 way to address this problem in the now.....return to the mid 20th century Mental Institution system. However, the legal hurdles would make that impossible.

Unfortunately folks, the source of this madness is entirely caused by the cultural rot we are living in.
