I'm starting to wonder if they just end up going back to Kevin McCarthy. Scalise was originally the front-runner but noped out of there once he realized he'd have to deal with the whackadoodle half of the GOP.

I am surprised Jim Jordan wasn’t the front runner to begin with. Seems like the perfect guy Matt Gaetz would want in that position.

Gaetz led the ouster of McCarthy. If he had any balls, he’d run for the job himself. Not that he’d be any good at it.

Then there’s the Stanford lecturer who had all his Jewish students stand in the corner. At least the university had the common sense to suspend him while they “investigate” what happened.
