Regarding Soleheim and Ryder cup, One of the dumbest things in sports might be tying a three day tournament but yet somehow “winning” it just because you won the cup two years ago.

Saw something online where someone suggested playing the Ryder and Solheim Cups at the same time on the same course. If nothing else, that would get a lot more eyeballs watching the ladies play.

Honestly, I don’t like the pick one player thing. It’s a team competition. If tied at the end, id have everyone play their competitor one hole, whoever wins the most holes, wins. If tied, just keep playing until it’s not.

I saw that too and honestly I think it’s a really stupid idea. The women should have their own event. Not sure of the tv viewership numbers but I have to think they are growing with each solheim cup. I know that in general more ladies are playing. Originally Posted by bjf123
