A couple of weeks ago Western Alberta was dealing with wildfires; that's not unusual in and of itself. What is unusual is the number of wildfires in Ontario and Quebec; you add that with low pressure blowing air from Canada into the US and you end up with apocalyptic pictures out of the East Coast.

I can’t post the map because I cannot get this site to recognize my pictures anymore, so,,
The wildfires - are not drought related, according to data from the Canadian government.
Here is a screen shot of the drought conditions in Canada from the CA Dept of Ag. The data show that there is no extreme drought, no drought in Quebec. Their is no "record breaking" heat being reported? Are a few (couple?) days of temps around 93F (34C) in Quebec, but nothing record breaking.

If you just post the link, then people will see where the actual verbiage comes from and proper attribution results:

Fun fact: If the U.S. completely eliminates all fossil fuel use (i.e., full switch to nuclear/renewables, full switch to electric vehicles and power equipment), the annual global CO2 emissions would decrease by about 0.6%.

1.) well duh since the U.S. doesn’t include the entire world.
2.) ok, now do methane
Seems like a common sense issue that the world should take into consideration. However instead we have one political party saying it doesn’t exist and the other one saying the world is going to end today if we don’t do something right at this second.
