Homeless guy acts crazy on the subway, and a former Marine gets him in a chokehold to hold him for police (with the help of a couple of others). Homeless guy dies.

    Justified? Or Subway Floyd?

RFK Jr - an old school lib - kind of sounds like Trump...almost MAGA like...

"The banking collapse is the tip of an economic mega-crisis. It’s not just the banks. Job openings plummeted for the third month in a row. Core factory orders dropped for the second consecutive month. Inflation is destroying the middle and working class. We need to turn our attention to rebuilding our nation — NOW. #Kennedy24"

He's going to be a major thorn in Biden's side. I wonder if he would be the one that finally releases the assassination files on his uncle? But lets be real, will the powers that be ever allow RFK to get to the point where he begins leading in the polls? Not only will they want to protect the security state from the release of those files, but they need to continue protecting the Obama-Biden woke/cultural/"Maoist with American characteristics" revolution. RFK is already up to 20% in the last polls I saw. If he gets to 30% or 40% in the next few weeks or so, the sharks will begin smelling blood in the water. Watch for Newsome or Michelle to jump in, and Biden being thrown over the ship.

RFK Jr - who already has support of 20% of Dems, has been throwing out some major truth bombs on Twitter the last couple of days:

    on Ukraine:

"After successfully defusing the Cuban Missile Crisis, President John Kennedy warned against ever again forcing Russia to choose between national humiliation and nuclear war. We should heed his advice."

"Zelensky ran as the peace candidate winning the Ukrainian presidency with 70% of the vote. As Benjamin Abelow observes in his brilliant book, “How the West Brought War to Ukraine,” Zelensky almost certainly could have avoided the 2022 war with Russia simply by uttering five words — “I will not join NATO.” But pressured by NeoCons in the Biden White House, and by violent fascist elements within the Ukrainian government, Zelensky integrated his army with NATO’s and allowed the U.S. to place nuclear-capable Aegis missile launchers along Ukraine’s 1,200-mile border with Russia. These were provocations that senior U.S. diplomats like post-WWII foreign policy architect George Kennan, former U.S. Defense Secretary Bill Perry, and former U.S. ambassador to Moscow Jack Matlock had long described as “red lines” for Russian leadership. Let’s face it, the Neocons wanted this war with Russia, just as they wanted war with Iraq."

    On immigration:

The most crucial aspect of the immigration crisis is rarely discussed: Why are so many people so desperate in the first place to leave their homes and countries behind for an uncertain future? The answer is uncomfortable. In large part, it is U.S. policies that create desperate conditions south of the border. The War on Drugs is one. U.S.-funded dictators, juntas, paramilitaries, and death squads. Neoliberal extraction of resources. Unpayable debts. It is inhumane and hypocritical to deny immigration while creating the conditions that drive immigration.

Is it possible to be pro-immigration AND pro closing the border? Yes. America should be a haven of freedom and prosperity, open to law-abiding migrants who will contribute to our society. However, immigration must proceed in an orderly, lawful manner. Right now we have chaos at the border. Human trafficking, criminality, intolerable stress on border states like Texas. It is a humanitarian nightmare.

on cash (the world, and the US, are moving towards a cashless society - a Fed Gov't agency, Rocky Mtn NP, just announced they will no longer accept their own currency):

Some advocate tight control of cryptocurrencies to prevent their use by criminals. But it isn’t just criminals who want privacy. So do dissidents and ordinary citizens. Governments harass their enemies and crush dissent by controlling bank accounts and payment platforms. Until we restore trust in government (a distant prospect) we need cash and crypto to ensure freedom.

    on free speech:

Instead of championing free speech, the U.S. actively persecutes journalists and whistleblowers. I’ll pardon brave truth-tellers like Julian Assange and investigate the corruption and crimes they exposed. This isn’t the Soviet Union. The America I love doesn’t imprison dissidents.

Lol where you come up with that looney tune?

How many times have you been banned? 10? 20? Yet you keep coming back? A bit psychotic, no?

Nice of you to deflect the comment though. I guess it makes sense you two can go anti vax together in fairytale land

I say justified. Homeless guy had been arrested Forty Four times before for harassing passengers and had been released to the outside world every time despite the fact that NYC spends hundreds of millions every year on mental health assistance.
I doubt Marine had any intent to kill the guy and guy probably just didn’t stop resisting. Would you have let this maniac go?
The word is “If you see something, say or do something. This guy was harrassing an elderly lady and had just recently before tried to push a passenger off the station platform into the path of an oncoming train. So the Marine “does something” and protects other passengers.
As ludicrous as Bragg is, he’ll probably indict the Marine for murder..
Unclear: Was the Marine Black too?
    Edit. He was not.
And I must add that Neeley was a very sad story. Some of it from outside influences such as his mother being murdered and some from him just not taking his meds. He was in and out of Bellevue. He definitely should not have been released into the public sphere.

Kennedy raised issues with the safety and efficacy of the Covid vax long before it was widely acknowledged. He is a prognosticator.

Without commenting on the legal aspects, it is my understanding that a person passes out from being in a choke hold, and then you have to continue it for some time to cause death.
It might seem that once the guy lapsed into unconsciousness, that the pressure could have been relaxed, and he could have been watched until the cops came, especially if the Marine had others assisting him at that time. Maybe not.
...he went up late, and I was already up there.
