Neither. They’re all idiots and the kids do suffer.

Speaking of kids, most of you spouting off about guns voted for Pro-Abortionists so it’s kind of hypocritical.

Here it is, sturgeon had been receiving treatment for mental health issues. Good thing he was able to buy an ar-15, but yeah it’s not a problem. You gun toting rights activists are effing nutjobs.

And gee I wonder if the multiple concussions he had could have contributed to the decline in his mental health? Hmm weird.

What kind of mental health issues was he being treated for?

    Explain why that matters?

For what it’s worth there were writings that were found of his in college that certainly indicated depression issues. We should definitely be fine with giving those people an ar-15. Guns for everyone!! I know my rights!

Depression. ThatÂ’s a condition that affects nearly 25% of Americans, and it is not in itself a mental health condition that would lead to gun violence against others. Anxiety is another.

Also, roughly half of mental health disorders (those that would and would not contribute to the potential for gun violence) are NOT being treated. Would making someone diagnosed with depression unable to own a gun make them more or less likely to seek treatment?

ThatÂ’s why it matters. ItÂ’s not as simple as you want to make it.

Yeah, actually it is pretty simple. If you are or have been treated with mental health issues, you shouldn’t have the ability to own a gun, period. And yeah depression is a health condition that increases the likelihood you will hurt yourself or others, but yet you apparently think it’s ok for them to own a gun? People with mental conditions should be flagged and that’s the end of it. It’s common sense.

And yes I understand that mental health does go untreated which is why I also believe lots of funding needs to go to this epidemic in our country.

This does beg the question, where has this rise in mental health issues come from? I think that’s the most important thing to solve, but also the most difficult and could take generations.
