Well, going way back to the time when the deaths were mounting seems fairly critical.
If I had posted something from last month, you'd be moaning about it being too late.
Point is he did, on many occasions, point out the benefits of healthy lifestyles and diet. You just want to demonize him for some strange reason.
As to masks and vaccines, you might ask yourself why Japan was so successful. And yes they closed schools also....he went up late, and I was already up there.

Ohio public schools were all over the map. Some were closed much longer than others and there were still schools in remote learning only as recently as Jan. 22. Comparing kids of today to the kids of the greatest generation is silly. Completely different mentality/world we live in, and if you want to minimalize the effect e-learning has had on our kids, knock yourself out..but you'll be on the wrong side of history. We're already seeing achievement levels suffer compared to other countries and it's still incredibly early in data collection. It's going to get worse..a lot worse.
Anyway you slice it, the hard data on the number of children seeking mental counseling, suicide rates, contemplation of suicide, social anxiety and any number of other potential mental issues absolutely skyrocketed during the school closure/lockdown time period.
Now on to unions: I don't care one way or the other. My grandfather was a pipefitter for what seemed like 100 years, 2 sisters are public school teachers. I absolutely think that a friggin Teacher's union getting closed door meetings and influencing CDC guidance during a pandemic is criminal. What the hell do teachers know about infectious diseases? It's the perfect example of a large non-governmental agency having undo influence when it comes to public policy decisions. No different than the gun, oil or environmental lobby IMO. All criminals...dayton will lose by 40 and we will loot tonight.

But you feel the need to comment - a snide remark here, throw a stone there - and then claim you won't debate or even try to educate yourself with new information.
You can whine and moan all you want, but the history is all here on this thread. You're either a congenital liar or a psychopath.

Wow that surprises me from NJ. Like Smails said, Ohio was all over the board. A couple of examples.
My daughter who teaches early childhood (second grade), her school closed midway through the spring semester in 2020. Then had remote learning the entire fall of 2020. After, had hybrid for spring of 2021. She told me this had a big impact on their social and academic development. Basically putting them a year behind.
Second - Miami U had remote learning the entire 2020-2021 school year (except for in class for things like labs). Heck my daughter barely left her dorm room freshman year. They even divided the students in the dorms into one per. Had masks mandates for 2021-22 minus last 2 months. Yea last point was because of the unions. Emailed school a few times and they basically told me they were waiting to get their blessing. Great first two years of college, not to mention our concern on her mental well being. Seems ok now, but…
