Sorry to those in the medical community. I'm sure your life has been difficult these past two years. But I'm beyond worrying about this pandemic and whehter or not other people are getting vaccinated. I'm sick of talking about it and asking about it. I got my two shots, and if I get sick I'll stay home. At some point I'm sure I'll get boostered. If this is just how life is going to be from now on, so be it. I'm at 99.5% normal from pre-pandemic. I'll just have to live without the other 0.5%.

I’m sorry, but from what I’ve read here if you are not “right” enough, you’re one of those damn “libs”. There is no gray, there is only black and white, according to some.

I’m with you, I’ve just been going about my life. I’m sure there is some truth on both sides. I’m not telling anyone else what to do, I just do what I think is right. But……

The BIL and SIL are both doctors and feel he probably would have been OK had he been able to get the “normal” care following that procedure. Of course, we will never know, but they will always wonder.

Save your fingers…this has been answered by 5-6 of us multiple times in how it affects others directly and indirectly, but the same 2-3 people keep asking the same question.

My wife got that infusion last Monday after coming down with Covid the day before Thanksgiving. She has a few co-morbidities that put her into the high risk category. She was fully vaccinated, but had not yet gotten a booster shot. It was scheduled for the Sunday after Thanksgiving.

She’s fine. Has almost all of her sense of taste and smell back. Luckily, it never hit me. Fingers crossed it stays that way!

Good to hear! Most of us will get sick to some degree, at some point, but if it’s minor, and life goes on…..whatever. It was the sickest I have been since 1992, but it never really concerned me. I know others have had worse outcomes, so I’m not making light of it.

When I got Covid, the only issue was sinuses running down the back of my throat.

Tired, lost my sense of smell for a little while, but other than that, I was fine. My whole family (wife and four daughters) all got it at the same time. Wife had it the worst, but she was still up and moving around for the most part. Two year and five year old had fevers for a couple of days, but were playing like normal. Older girls (11 and 14) had the same symptoms, but thankfully, we basically all just hung out together for a couple of weeks.

Also, my parents (68 & 74) both got it. I was worried about them when I found out because of their age, but they both had mild symptoms and got through it fine. Dad said his body ached pretty bad for a few days, but that was the worst. My grandmother (age 86) lives with them and she did not get Covid. None of them were vaxxed either.
