Do you believe it’s possible for someone without antibodies to avoid infection at this point?

What’s your point? If I have the shot or better yet if I’ve had COVID I have antibodies. So how is someone who chooses to not get the shot a detriment to those who have?

Those without antibodies are more likely to spread infection, be hospitalized, and be in the ICU. If you don’t think that directly and indirectly affects others I don’t know what else to say.

Maybe in a vacuum where immunity is black and white.

Perhaps and maybe in a vacuum 100% vaccination would solve everything.

Well, in real life it’s actually really really effective, so there is no need for hypotheticals.

Sure, so is abstinence but no one’s mandating that. I’m all in vax (but may not get boosters considering my PERSONAL health) treatments (any that work at all) and better means of hospital administration.

Assuming you have not contracted covid yet, if you could go back in time would you choose not to do the vaccine? If you would choose the same, what if I told you that eventually the vaccine you did would wear off and you would have to do an annual booster until a different technology is studied to be more effective?

I did have COVID so it’s hard to say but I certainly wouldn’t want to feel pressured on a message board or forced by politicians to make that choice.

That said, I don’t get the flu shot every year so guess I’d wait and see how virulent the strain is and evaluate my health at the time.
