Some of us have been aware of this for a while now (and I bet Fauci was as well, but he's in it for the $$$$):

COVID-19 Mortality Risk Correlates Inversely with Vitamin D3 Status, and a Mortality Rate Close to Zero Could Theoretically Be Achieved at 50 ng/mL 25(OH)D3

"The datasets provide strong evidence that low D3 is a predictor rather than just a side effect of the infection. Despite ongoing vaccinations, we recommend raising serum 25(OH)D levels to above 50 ng/mL to prevent or mitigate new outbreaks due to escape mutations or decreasing antibody activity."

But it’s always been about the science and never political. People on this board need to wake the hell up

Well, he just emerged from whatever, and acknowledged seasonality… because Cali is spiking again. Yeah.

From the, you know, "super conservative" L.A. Times...this was on YouTube's main page under the Covid-19 News videos, released Nov. 8th.

That video would seem to support a great reason to get a booster to continue being protected.
The efficiency of the vaccine declining over time would appear to measure people getting the virus after vaccination. We know that people can carry it after vaccination (and therefore continue to spread it) but what is the impact.

    The study itself notes:
Importantly, vaccination of any type was protective against death among individuals who did become infected.
The study showed that the risk of death from COVID infection was highest in unvaccinated Veterans, regardless of age and comorbidities

So, rather than the study somehow justifying not get a vaccine because you'll get infected anyway...it seems to point to the overwhelming positive benefit of being vaccinated.

Or how about those that get Covid have naturally immunity that is stronger than a vaccine.

If you want to keep getting booster shots for the rest of your life, that's your choice.

    I suppose that's a point.
But it means killing hundreds of thousands who "get Covid" and don't survive, while we try to reach herd immunity.
Seems more humane to get everyone vaccinated like smallpox, to reduce near zero the incidence of death.

I don't get it, isnt this what they have already said and why they are recommending the booster?
