    Ivermectin

A Butler County judge has ruled in favor of a woman who sued to force a hospital to treat her husband with Ivermectin. The man has been in the hospital several weeks fighting the virus, court records show. The Aug. 23 decision requires the hospital to allow Dr. Fred Wagshul to administer 30mg of Ivermectin daily for three weeks to Smith. “From the countries that we’ve seen that have emptied their hospitals. This medicine is very very effective,” Dr. Wagshul said.

Ivermectin has both anti-viral and anti-inflammatory properties.

Again, it's people like Xville and his liberal buddies in the media, FDA and CDC that have blood on their hands. These people have demonized perfectly fine therapeutics that could have saved thousands of lives around the world.

Just a couple of weeks ago the National Institutes of Health published this on their website regarding Ivermectin (the NIH is a U.S. government organization - and their not associated with Alex Berensen!!!):

"Moderate-certainty evidence finds that large reductions in COVID-19 deaths are possible using ivermectin. Using ivermectin early in the clinical course may reduce numbers progressing to severe disease. The apparent safety and low cost suggest that ivermectin is likely to have a significant impact on the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic globally."

    https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC8248252/

According to the "real-time meta analysis of 63 studies" (of which Alex Berensen was NOT associated with any of them), "Statistically significant improvements are seen for mortality, hospitalization, recovery, cases, and viral clearance. 27 studies show statistically significant improvements in isolation."

From the Wall Street Journal (Alex Berensen doesn't work for the WSJ): "Why Is the FDA Attacking a Safe, Effective Drug?": https://www.wsj.com/articles/fda-ive...ce-11627482393

There are dozens of countries around the world that are currently using ivermectin (hello, Alex Berensen isn't a public health official in any of these countries):

    * According to Jackie Stone, a doctor in Zimbabwe, since January – when Ivermectin began to be used – it has cut COVID hospital admissions and deaths over 70%.

    * A meta-analysis gold standard review of 24 randomised trials conducted in 15 countries among more than 3400 people worldwide of clinical trials – just released by the BIRD group in the UK – showed that deaths are dramatically reduced when Ivermectin is administered. Published in the American Journal of Therapeutics the most rigorous statistical standards were applied by world-leading biostatistician, Mr Andrew Bryant, and medical doctor and researcher Dr Tess Lawrie. The results concluded that Ivermectin has an over 70% success in preventing deaths in hospitalised patients.

So I can go to my local Tractor Supply and buy a product that is used to deworm horses, then go to YouTube and learn how to self-administer this product, and then ingest it……….or I can go to my local pharmacy and get a shot that was developed by a pharmaceutical company and has FDA approval. That’s a tough call. Then again, I’m going to perform my own cataract surgery this weekend using a knitting needle and a soft contact lens.

Read it. It shows some studies have shown the drug to be effective however to what extent is unclear at this point. Makes sense to me in same same way we're continuously learning as new data is available about the effectiveness of the mRNA shots. All of it is good work that should continue/be studied.

Interesting that's what you got out of it. However, I will concede that of course all avenues should continue to be studied/analyzed.

I just believe that ignorant rhetoric and misinformation such as this:

"Again, it's people like Xville and his liberal buddies in the media, FDA and CDC that have blood on their hands. These people have demonized perfectly fine therapeutics that could have saved thousands of lives around the world."

is ill-informed at best, and dangerous at worst.

More misinformation from the king of misinformation. This quote is 100% correct:

"Again, it's people like Xville and his liberal buddies in the media, FDA and CDC that have blood on their hands. These people have demonized perfectly fine therapeutics that could have saved thousands of lives around the world."

Is Ivermectin or HCQ perfect? Likely not. But in lieu of any other treatments - especially during the first several months of the pandemic - there were thousands and thousands of people that could've benefited from these therapies. But because the "Orange Man" mentioned them, and because there was a ton of money to be made, those were never going to be allowed.

Watch if you wish to be informed:

I didn't know you had the power to post on a basketball message board and impact the approval process for off label uses of drugs. Congrats on your new found power. Could you use it to score me some medical marijuana as a therapeutic to lessen the headache I get from having to read Lou's nonsense?

The sad or maybe funny part ( I don’t know which) is that Lou actually believes the stuff he posts. Maybe scary is more the right term.

I might need to prescribe you something more powerful for Lou’s nonsense.
