Thanks Lloyd. I checked with an attorney friend who practiced for many years in Toledo, and is a friend of the president of the Ohio Senate.
He confirmed to me that the Republicans did in fact redraw the congressional district lines, as they retook control of the legislature in 2010, as I noted above.
I know gerrymandering is done by both parties, but in Ohio's case, the 2011 re-draw caused a lot of challenges.
https://ballotpedia.org/Redistrictin...he_2010_censusAs a result of the 2010 Census, Ohio lost two congressional seats, dropping from 18 to 16.[4][8]
Ohio received its 2010 local census data. This data guided lawmakers as they drew new legislative districts
Results 10,641 to 10,650 of 26805

“Lyin’ Joe Biden”
From the Wall Street Journal about Georgia’s new voting law:
“ “You’re go*ing to close a polling place at 5 o’clock, when work*ing peo*ple just get off?” he said to ESPN. “This is all about keep*ing work*ing folks, and or*di*nary folks that I grew up with, from be*ing able to vote.” Mr. Biden ei*ther doesn’t know what’s in the Geor*gia bill or he is ly*ing about it. We’d like to be*lieve it’s the for*mer, but that gets harder to credit as his false*hoods mul*ti*ply. On Elec*tion Day in Geor*gia, any*one in line by 7 p.m. gets a bal*lot. The new law re*quires an ex*tra Sat*ur*day of vot*ing, while spec*i*fy*ing early vot*ing hours: The min*i*mum is 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., but coun*ties may run 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. In metro ar*eas, “you might not no*tice a change,” ex*plains Geor*gia Pub*lic Broad*cast*ing. Else*where, “you will have an ex*tra week*end day, and your week*day early vot*ing hours will likely be longer. Geor*gia’s law does make it eas*ier to vote, though it also tries to re*as*sure cit*i*zens about bal*lot in*tegrity. The state pro*vides far more days of early vot*ing than New York. It of*fers no-ex*cuse ab*sen*tee bal*lots, un*like Mr. Biden’s beloved Del*aware. So who’s re*ally sup*press*ing whom? Geor*gia’s new law puts lim*its on drop boxes, but as Delta’s Mr. Bas*t*ian now re*grets point*ing out last week, it also makes them a per*ma*nent part of the vot*ing sys*tem. In 2019, be*fore Covid, drop boxes were il*le*gal.“Last edited by Masterofreality; 04-02-2021 at 08:38 AM.

I remember a time when all the CEO's were staunch Republicans. Now the Republicans hate corporate America. Hahaha. Too funny.

CEO’s are in bed with China. And are chicken to stand up to them.
You DO NOT want to go there.
And Delta and Coca Cola can pull up stakes whenever they want rather than just weak woke statements.
But they won’t.
I hope Delta likes losing that big ass tax break they received.Last edited by Masterofreality; 04-02-2021 at 09:40 AM.

Relax MOR. Yeah, things are tough. New jobs up almost a million, airlines and hotels packed, S&P 4,000, Americans flush with cash, used car market and home sales booming, 200 million covid shots etc. etc. Go see the grandkids.

What I find funny is that none of those quotes by Delta, Coca-Cola, or basically anyone do not mention one thing about the new legislation that is a problem except for Biden whose quote was completely wrong....it's just "arrrrggghhhh racism...arrrgggh inequitable." It's pretty obvious by their statements that none of them have actually read the legislation or even the cliff notes version of the legislation to understand any of it. It's just "aaargggh someone is pissed off because republicans passed a bill so im going to be pissed off too to make myself look like I give a crap so they use Delta or buy more Coke and don't cancel me."
