I see you all passed the test.

I think it’s more likely that the mask was protecting those around you, not so much yourself. I’m not a fanatic, I like the common sense approach. We’ve had people to the house, but open it up for fresh air. I take my mask off at the table in a restaurant, but I still go out.

I do NOT wear a mask alone in my car, or on walks around the neighborhood or a park. BUT I DO put a mask on any time I go inside a public establishment.

NOBODY knows everything about this. The smartest people in the world in this field have been working on it constantly for more than a year. They STILL have more questions than answers. Having said that, and even outside of examining all the studies, if there is ANY CHANCE the mask can help protect other people from something I might be carrying, I’m going to wear the mask. That is called......NOT being a jerk.

Are you going to keep wearing the mask once "everyone" is vaccinated and this thing is more or less over?

So again...what does "Consistent Basis" mean? How do you prove that as fact since that is the stance you are taking.

Why do you feel the need to die on this hill and crusade about something like a mask?

You consistently come on here, attack others with different viewpoints from yours, find links that back up your opinions with more opinions and theory and present them as fact.

Here is one of your NPR studies that you referenced...even if this "model" is true which is a stretch because it's a model not fact, the model estimates that about a third have had covid...and describes the CDC model that you try to push off as fact as rudimentary.

Nope, masks will fade away, like most things. Again, I’ll take the common sense approach. I think we’ll know when this is sufficiently behind us. I think we are getting there surprisingly fast as these vaccines get out there.

You still canÂ’t Answer simple questions. You just keep yelling into the wind and link things that are conjecture, theory and opinion, presenting them as fact. Most of those links donÂ’t say what you think they do.

I agree with you two 100% on that. As I said above, I wear the mask when I'm around others who wear the mask, and it doesn't really bother me. I was just checking how strong you were on this point, because if you're going to stop wearing the mask when the pandemic is largely behind us, this isn't quite true:

if there is ANY CHANCE the mask can help protect other people from something I might be carrying, I’m going to wear the mask.

BTW, this isn't meant to be any sort of gotcha. Just wasn't sure whether to take this seriously or literally. Glad to see it's the former and not the latter. Hope it's the world's general approach.

That was mostly in annoyance at a particular anti-mask crusader/asshat (see above). I’m not 100% on many things as there is so much we don’t know about so many things. I should have said “realistic” or “significant”, etc. Truth be told, for the most part I only wear a mask in the grocery store and getting to my table in a restaurant. That’s about it, and it’s a small burden to bear.

Damn, you really are a fucking moron - just like XU82 - don't let the facts get in the way of your opinions.

(BTW, you guys are quite magical in being able to digest all of that information in just a few minutes)
