I think it’s the opposite. He knows that would be setting a bad precedent because a Republican administration would simply do the same to bump the number of justices again. He doesn’t want to say that and piss off a number of the far Left voters.

I miss the days when it was OK to be more near the middle. We have gotten so far to the right or left it’s disappointing. I think most people really ARE more toward the middle, but they tire at the thought of trying to outshout the extreme folks on either side.

Honest question - how pervasive is this vile, vicious, Soviet Union-era type of thinking within the Democrat party? This should scare the hell out of everyone, because won't end pretty for anyone in this country if Joe Biden wins..
