And has he been cited, indicted, or even accused of any wrongdoing or crimes?
No. Restructuring debt is common in business. Done all the time. Have the lenders cut him off? Have they stopped doing business with Trumpworld? Nah.
And after you get all in a lather about Trump legally using the tax code to his advantage- a tax code that had provisions in it that were revised and signed into it by Obama, then were used by Trump in his tax returns- go take a look at Amazon, Jeff Bezos, and Google and note how they have avoided paying taxes.
Trump has real estate, that has absolutely legal provisions in the tax code for depreciation, interest expenses and loss carry forwards that are commonly used to reduce tax burden. Meanwhile, per the NY Times own story, Trump actually paid $1 million in 2016 and $4.2 million to the US Treasury in Income Taxes that he might owe, up front.
This Trump tax thing is just another shiny object to galvanize the resistance hate. Move on.

WTF are you talking about Bobby?
Forbes estimates that Trump has $6 billion in assets- and that is $3 billion less than Trump says he has because they won’t give him credit for any “Brand value” .
$6 Billion in assets. He has debt liability of $425 million.
Those numbers may be way out of your league to comprehend, but the dude ain’t declining or broke.
And has he been accused of Tax Fraud, or indicted for any financial crime? Uh, no. That story is full of speculation, hopes of some smoking gun (with no evidence of fraud) and “ifs” but zero in reality of proving illegality.
Try again, and you’ll fail again.Last edited by Masterofreality; 09-28-2020 at 08:26 PM.

Hey...it takes a great business man to bankrupt a casino. MAGA !
Edit: if he is such a great business man, why not release the tax returns that would prove it? What is he hiding if he's so smart?Last edited by paulxu; 09-28-2020 at 08:32 PM.

He has not been paying federal taxes because at the same time he has been bragging about his properties he has been writing down the value of those assets.
Why would they give him credit for brand value when he is taking write offs.it is legal but based on your comments you do not understand what he is doing.

Hah ! Grifters gonna grift.
ANC paid him $1 million in 2009, the same year Trump began a new venture in yet another multi-level marketing firm that was rebranded as “the Trump Network,” which marketed vitamins. Before the company went bankrupt, Trump reportedly made $2.6 million as he told potential clients that the Trump Network “wants to give millions of people renewed hope, and with an exciting plan to opt out of the recession” and convinced them to spend hundreds of dollars on starter kits to get their friends and family looped in....he went up late, and I was already up there.
