There are no alternate facts here. There is what he said and for those who hate trump like yourself, you are going to think it is the worst thing in the world and he was misleading the american public because he is a liar and completely horrible human being. Then there are people who dont have an irrational hate for trump who can clearly see where he was coming from.

I don't think he's fit for the office, and I think his stewardship of the office has hurt our country in a variety of ways.

For our country's sake I hope he's a one term president.

On a personal note, as a veteran, I especially think he has disdain for the military, except where it serves his purposes.
And anyone who denigrates an American prisoner of war is a coward.
He is a bully and con man, and even if you like the tax cuts and judges and de-regulation, it doesn't change that.
