The purpose of communist propaganda was not to persuade or convince, not to inform, but to humiliate; and therefore, the less it corresponded to reality the better. When people are forced to remain silent when they are being told the most obvious lies, or even worse when they are forced to repeat the lies themselves, they lose once and for all their sense of probity. To assent to obvious lies is in some small way to become evil oneself. One’s standing to resist anything is thus eroded and even destroyed.
A society of emasculated liars is easy to control.

It's also a bit troubling the access that the MyPillow guy has to the White House.

I am not seeing where Trump repeats what the MyPillow guy said. In the first article the MyPillow guy claims Trump is asking the FDA to approve the drug, but I'm not seeing any quotes from Trump. In the second article Trump rhetorically asks "Is it something that people are talking about very strongly?" and then says "We'll look at it."

I love how no one knows the guy's real name. Everyone just calls him MyPillow guy.

He really turned his life around though and is an amazing success story. Went from a crack addict and alcoholic to a multi-millionaire. He even turned a big portion of his MyPillow factory into making masks for Covid.

None of it matters because he likes Trump.

That's good if he overcame addiction to become successful.

This puts him in good company with the president:
In August 2016, the New York State Attorney General's office charged that My Pillow failed to collect and remit over $500,000 in sales tax. The company denied any wrongdoing and agreed to pay $1.1 million in settlement.
...he went up late, and I was already up there.

He's a modern day hero. We should sandblast Roosevelt off of Mount Rushmore and replace it with his likeness.

My wife and I both use them. Very nice! They’re expensive, but she found them on sale at Kohl’s.

My wife and I tried them and absolutely hated them. The material is just really strange to me..its like a foam that is in pieces---just odd. I highly suggest Coop pillows---i have had it for 5-6 months and absolutely love it. Not cheap by any means, but if there is one thing i don't mind paying a premium for, it is a good nights sleep.
