You did make an unintentional point that I am fascinated by, though. Namely, how thoroughly Trump has cuckolded the Republican party. The Republican party that I used to belong to was the party of Reagan, not the party of Trump. How did things get so broken that so many of you literally will support ANYTHING that Trump says or does? You know that you don't have to do that right? You can think he is a good President without supporting every action he takes or statement he makes.

You know why I support Trump now? Because we had to suffer through a decade of McCain, Bush, Romney, etc. bowing to the Democrats in fear of being labeled a racist or a sexist or a whatever. Trump doesn't apologize for standing up to the Dems. Does he say and do some crazy shit? Yes. Does he advocate for positions or policies I dislike? Yes. But he fights back and that's what people want.

Look at Romney. He was called a moron for his stance on Russia. He was labeled a uncaring millionaire asshole for being rich. He was labeled a sexist for some stupid non-story on his "binder of women." Now he's a champion of the left because he's an absolute pansy. Look at Dewine, he was voted out of the Senate for not standing up to the left. And now we are dealing with his bullshit again of raising taxes, raising the smoking age, trying to enact gun restriction laws, and now his covid response. Trump isn't the ideal Republican or ideal politician but he fights back.

Trump is losing his mind. Just look at his latest position on voting by mail. He voted by mail recently in the Florida primary. Now he sez he will withhold federal funds to Michigan and Nevada bcuz they sent out "applications" for absentee ballots. Of course he had that all wrong by saying they were sending out mail-in ballots. Four other RED States have done exactly the same thing. Mail-in is a great, easy way to vote. What are the 'pubs afraid of. More absurdity and hypocrisy from the WH. "Do as I say, not as I do". Total bullshit.

Wait...what??? We're you not paying attention during Obama's Presidency?? If you dared challenge him on public policy, you were labeled a racist. If you were black and didn't support him, you were labeled an Uncle Tom. My god don't tell me that you think that 'blind faith following' is more prominent under Trump than it was under Obama. This is simply today's political climate and it is absolutely not exclusive to Trump supporters. For every cuckolded Trump supporter, there's at least 1 Trump hater that is equally as blinded in their hatred. This is not a Trump issue...this is who we are as an electorate today.
