"University of Miami (FL) has concluded its preliminary COVID-19 study, which found ~165,000 Miami-Dade residents (or 6%) had antibodies, nearly 16x the number of cases reported by the state health department. This puts the fatality rate at ~0.14% there."

And more on why we are all paying for the situation in NYC:

    Jordan Schachtel
    @JordanSchachtel
Hundreds, if not thousands of people in NYC died because political officials decided to send hospitalized patients still infected with virus back into nursing homes, resulting in the virus wiping out people throughout the rest of the facility.

How is this not front page news?

And finding this just boggled my feeble brain.

Seoul Korea's population is larger than New York City, and twice as dense.

Deaths from the virus so far in NYC: 16,000 +

Deaths from the virus so far in ALL of Korea: 240

    Crazy times.

Edit: actually, some US cities ought to study Korea, and try exactly whatever it is they did so successfully.
    Differences were:

1.) NYC response was absolutely effing horrible. Cuomo is a fucktard.

2.) Trump's response was extremely late, and left the states to their own devices. South Korea made things mandated federally. Trump is also a fucktard.

3.) Korea had testing immediately and efficiently, we didnt, because we have a government of fucktards that would rather blame each other for absolutely everything and spend time o stupid shit like impeachment proceedings than a pending pandemic.

So, to wrap this up. South korea is smart, we are fucktards.

Who had a brother who got Corona, broke quarantine, threatened another person, and also used bleach baths for treatment.

(And I agree Trump's questions about light and disinfectant were dumb before everyone thinks I'm being one sided)

    Today’s Reality Check for Ohio:
Model Projection of new Cases per Day (Mitigated) 2,000 on April 17. (Projected peak Today 4/22 shows 1,850 per OSU model)
    1. Today's Actual new reported Cases: 421 - Down 54 from yesterday’s new of 475 (22 Probable/Assumed cases today.)
Highest Daily Total Increase in cases since report began on 3/9: 1380 Monday with 56 probable/assumed- A LOT from the Marion County prison
    2. Actual TOTAL Hospitalizations: 3,115 (up only 62from yesterday) since reporting began over a month ago.
Where are the Marion County cases?
    3. Actual TOTAL ICU admits: 938 since reporting began a month ago (up only 18 from yesterday and 2 less of an increase than prior day)
Where are the Marion County cases??
    4. New Deaths today: 22 to 711 total (that’s 12 less than prior day)
    Total Ohio Hospital Beds: 34,000
    Total Ohio ICU Beds:2500
    Ohio Population; 11.7 million

Testing or no testing the numbers are going down and even with the small sample of testing, testing, testing in Marion County, the numbers of hospitalizations and ICU admits keep going down. I thought somebody a few days ago said that it was only a matter of time before Marion showed up in the hospital. Welp......
I feel like I’m yelling in the void here. This testing ruse is a sham to infringe upon individual freedom that this country was built upon and the testing numbers are empty and irrelevant. But you do you.

Ok.....I guess the worry warts are losing steam *on here*

    Today’s Reality Check for Ohio:
Model Projection of new Cases per Day (Mitigated) 2,000 on April 17. (Projected Today 4/26 shows 1,800 per OSU model)
    1. Today's Actual new reported Cases: 376 - Down 45 from yesterday’s new of 421
Highest Daily Total Increase in cases since report began on 3/9: 1380 Monday with 56 probable/assumed- A LOT from the Marion County prison. Never anywhere NEAR the projected peak. NEVER
    2. Actual TOTAL Hospitalizations: 3,178 (up only 63 from yesterday) since reporting began over a month ago.
Where are the Marion County cases that were supposed to swamp after all that Testing
    3. Actual TOTAL ICU admits: 952 since reporting began a month and a half ago (up only 14 from yesterday and 4 less of an increase than prior day)
Where are the Marion County cases that were supposed to swamp after Testing??
    4. New Deaths today: 17 to 728 total (that’s 5 less than prior day)
    Total Ohio Hospital Beds: 34,000
    Total Ohio ICU Beds:2500
    Ohio Population; 11.7 million

Testing or no testing the numbers are going down and even with the small sample of testing, testing, testing in Marion County, the numbers of hospitalizations and ICU admits keep going down. Where was the onslaught and why is this state still on lockdown when the precautions are working?

Other interesting numbers. All the media is crazy with the fact that the US has the most deaths of any other country at over 54,000.
The thing that they always conveniently leave out is that A) Over half the deaths are in two states- New York and New Jersey. B) The Death rate per million of population in the US is one of the lower ones of fully developed countries. Consider these rankings:
    -Belgium, 612 per million
    -Spain, 496
    -Italy- 441
    -France- 350
    -UK- 305
    -Holland, 241
    -Ireland, 220
    -Sweden, 217
    -Switzerland, 186
    -United States, 166

Know who you don't see? China. Their "reported" death rate is 3 per million. Hmmmm.

By the way. Ohio's Death Rate per million is 63.

Yeah, we haven't been perfect, but the way the media likes to portray it, our government has been just criminally negligent. Uh, I'd submit that Mayor "Live your Life, I'm going to the Gym" DeBlabbio might be that guy.

Translation per the panic stricken MSM:

    1) If it doesn't happen in New York it doesn't happen.
    2) If it happens in New York and it's bad it's not guys in New York's fault, it's the Federal Government. (So the Feds are responsible to bail their sinking asses out).

By the way. I'm giving most of my Stimulus money to charity- some to Xavier. Some of you Fat Cats on here might consider doing the same.
