The U.S. didn't have a major hurricane from about 2005-2015. Is the lack of hurricanes during this time also caused by global warming?

This decade better get some more hurricanes, and fast, if it wants to even be close to previous decades, including the decade with the most recorded hurricanes- the 1880's.

Global cooling has arrived, as I predicted. It was 56 degrees today in Cincinnati. On September 1. I was going to burn more fossil fuels to warm things up, but that has only caused more cooling. What should we do?

Perhaps global cooling caused global warming which is causing cooling and then warming. Maybe the earth is like the office thermostat and we just can't get it quite right

87 and MOR are both good dudes. Frankly, after years and years on these boards, I've come to believe everyone here is good, but we have some sharply different ideas about some stuff. This topic is among that stuff. Frankly, I was the one instigating and kibitzing because, well because, it's what I do sometimes.
