Man, it must just be inconsistent. I got a growler of it at Whole Foods by Fields Ertel on Super Bowl Sunday. It was one of the smoothest and well balanced Imperial IPA's I've had in recent memory. It was so good that while drinking it...I think it moved. (Seinfeld reference)

I saw someone with a Citra High can over the 4th. If anyone sees this beer for sale, can you alert me where? I can't find it anywhere.

I'm familiar with the taproom. I have never been able to get Citra High in cans there. Do they have it?

Kahns, because you (and Snipe) owe me a beer, I thought I'd provide a little assistance.
Here's the response to my email from the Taproom.
Hi Paul,
Unfortunately we have been sold out for quite some time. This is a very limited release and tends to sell out very quickly (sometimes within the day). To my knowledge any accounts that got it are also sold out as well. There are plans to release it again in the fall, schedule allowing.
lauren...he went up late, and I was already up there.

Kahns,
Check out this announcement from MadTree.
The special "fall seasonal in cans" due out next week might be your Citra High.

Going to be in Portland for a few days in a couple of weeks. I know Portland is one of the beer capitols in the country, but does anyone have any favorite breweries in the city to go to? Definitely looking to hit up a few.

Belmont Station looks pretty insane. On twitter, they posted that they just tapped Lost Abbey Cuvee de Tomme, a pretty sought after Sour. It looks like they have a crazy bottle selection.
Degarde brewing is about 90 minutes away and they're making some funky stuff that's big in the trading world right now.
Deschutes has a brewpub in Portland. Hopworks does, too.
