I presume you've already watched it, but if not Friday Night Lights is an absolute must-see from start to finish.
I do have Peaky Blinders on my list.

I read Friday Night Lights but have not seen any of the TV series. I actually ready the other day how good it was, I had no idea it was so good.

I was up very early this morning while the rest of the house slept, and watched Out of the Clear Blue Sky on Netflix. It's a documentary about Cantor Fitzgerald, the company that had the top 4 floors of the North World Trade Tower. I vaguely remember the CEO of this company, but I didn't realize that Cantor Fitz was the single entity to lose the most people on 9/11. They lost almost 700 employees on that day, twice as many people as FDNY lost. And, to make matters worse about 40% of those who died have never had any part of them recovered from the site. What I really liked about the doc was that it wasn't political. It was about the families who were left behind, the media, and the employees who - by the grace of God - weren't in the north tower that day and had to move on without their friends, family members and colleagues. I highly recommend it.
Thanks for the recommendation, I will check that out.

Black Mirror is definitely messed up, but it's good. I've watched 5 of the 6 episodes, and have thoroughly enjoyed all but one of the episodes.

Absolutely love Black Mirror. It's hard to find a show / movie that presents such provocative subject matters with quality writing and acting.
Mom and Papa told me "Son, you gotta go to school; only way to make the fam'ly proud."
I paid no attention, left my books at home, rather play my music real loud.

Watched "As it is in Heaven," thought it was excellent.

The West Wing will be less frustrating than many other shows. Tons of content. Enjoy! House of Cards is at the other end of the spectrum.... and making me crazy! (OK, maybe just sustaining my crazy.)

It's not on Netflix, but Bosch on Amazon Prime is pretty good. It reminds me of the early seasons of NYPD Blue, but a serial. I've been a big fan of Titus Welliver since he was on Brooklyn South back when.

I was a big fan of Friday Night Lights. And an added bonus, looking at Minka Kelly never gets old!

I'm currently going through and watching some shows that have gone off the air in the past few years. Just finished Prison Break and thought it was decent in the early seasons but got bored with it after awhile. Thought the same of Lost as well. Getting ready to start Breaking Bad finally.

Anybody watch White Collar? My wife is currently watching it and I've caught an episode here and there. It's somewhat interesting but I feel like it would be the same thing over and over each episode.

It's a procedural drama and that's pretty much the point of it. Allows for nearly every single episode to be a point of entry to any audience member.

I watched it when it first aired until about a year ago then caught up on the season I missed. Just waiting for the final, short season to hit Netflix or be repeated on USA. I enjoyed it. Some seasons were stronger than others but even weaker seasons had good episodes.

I'm about halfway through the 2nd season of Peaky Blinders and am enjoying it more than I thought. Thanks for the recommendation. It has a similar vibe to Ripper Street and Copper but I may end up liking it better than those two. Great actors.
