UTEP sophomore forward Vince Hunter and senior guard/forward Julian Washburn have been named to the 10-man Preseason All-Conference USA Team.

Hunter was the 2014 C-USA Freshman of the Year, five-time Freshman of the Week and a finalist for the Kyle Macy National Freshman of the Year Award. He set UTEP freshman records for free throw attempts (202) and field goal percentage (.568) last season while averaging 12.3 points and 6.5 rebounds. Hunter was the Miners' leading scorer in C-USA play with 14.5 ppg.

Washburn enters the season with 1,186 career points to rank 18th in school history.

Both Hunter and Washburn were second team All-League honorees in 2013-14

Early line...Muskies giving 7-7.5. I agree that the competition steps up in this game. But this is why we schedule. Get 'er done, lads, and we knock on the top-25 door.
