According to a tweet by Kyle Neddenriep of the Indianapolis Star, Xavier is currently watching 2014 Shooting Guard J.P Macura. Travis Steele also tweeted that he was in Indiana today recruiting, so I am assuming he is the one on the beat.

Macura apparently already has an offer from Butler and Purdue is also listed as being especially involved.

Butler and Minnesota are probably the two to watch out for on this one. Mack and Steele were in Indy watching Justin Bibbs, JP, and a handful of 2015 targets.

Mack is down in Augusta at the Peach Jam now I think, after stopping in at the deal in Indianapolis.

J.P. Macura: I just went. I just got back.

Gopher Hole: I thought that you were originally going to go on the 6th?

J.P. Macura: I switched it up to kind of speed the process up a little bit.

Gopher Hole: How was the visit?

J.P. Macura: It was awesome. I liked it a lot. What I like about the school is that I can come in and have a big impact on the team right away, if I work hard at it. Overall, I think that everything was great. It is a small campus, which isn’t that bad. The classroom size is very small, which I like. I thought it was good.

Obviously, the "he" who doesn't care about distance is Macura, not BLFDOH. "Pronoun without antecedent" fail on my part.

According to the front page of musketeer scoop, J.P. Macura is currently on his official visit to Xavier. Come on Mack, get him to verbal before he leaves :)
