No one has argued he made a good short term decision for himself/family.

We will see if he made a good long term decision if LIV doesn't make it and he still wants to play golf into his 50's

I would think this will all be settled by the time Jason is 50. Probably not too worried about that.

Do you not watch Korn Ferry coverage? How about college golf? How about any of the professional sports minor leagues? What are the ratings for those events pal? Stop telling us what we should or shouldn't enjoy watching.

the point is, the PGA Tour and Senior PGA Tour will black ball Jason and not allow him to play their tour if something happens to LIV

I could be wrong of course, but I cant imagine the current members of both tours would be very happy if that happened

Yeah I understood your point. Was just saying 10 years from now I doubt this will still be going on. Either liv golf will be gone or there will be some type of merger. No way will the keep some of these guys out of golf completely if they still want to play at 50. I think most pga players would want these guys back, its the few outspoken ones that get all the headlines.

This is where I think you're wrong. I don't think you leave and go to work for a competitor and they welcome you back that easily. Whether your outspoken or not.

As to Jason, he’s expressed that he doesn’t care about playing golf forever. In that vein he’s similar to Ben Curtis. Ben has no desire to keep grinding.
These guys want to make their money and get out.
The tour is a ridiculous grind and not every player wants to be out there for 30 years. JK may change his mind, but I’ll bet he “retires” within 5 years.
