Honestly, don't think that ever was the case. Furthermore, nothing has been proven as "fact". Pharmacies, medical facilities, and a few businesses still require masks to enter. As we learn more, and as science suggests, the infection is more of a threat if the viral load is increased. Again, see Italy in it's early stages of the virus, India, South America, etc. Maybe a few on this board should contact the health professionals/administrators in those countries/areas and tell them that masks don't work at reducing viral load.
At no point, as far as I can remember, did anyone on this board advocate mask wearing outside (running, walking, mowing the lawn, if not in close proximity to other people...rallies, concerts, etc).
On a side note, what news sources do you all (no matter which political party) find reputable? Since we are submitting links without peer review, I'm wondering about the March 2019 discoveries of the coronavirus in sewage samples in Spain, Brazil, etc. Any thoughts?
